Hebrew High for Credits
What is Hebrew High?
Hebrew High is an accredited after-school Jewish studies program open to all Jewish students in Washington State. Classes can be taken for credits that can be applied to your high school, or you can take classes just for fun!
What classes are offered?
Every topic you might want to learn is offered, including Hebrew Language, Guitar, History of Israel, Commando Krav Maga, Dance, and much more! For a full course listing, please visit our website: www.HebrewHighSeattle.com.
How do I get credits?

Where and when will classes be held?
Wednesday nights from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Stroum Jewish Community Center (3801 East Mercer Way, Mercer Island). Transportation options are available upon request.
Will there be food?
A light dinner/snack will be provided, such as pizza, doughnuts, or even BBQ.
Can I bring my friends?
Absolutely! Anyone not registered at Hebrew High is welcome to attend a class and try it out.
Any special trips?
Through our partner agencies, Hebrew High offers accredited summer programs to Israel as well as heritage trips to New York and Washington DC. Several classes leave school grounds on a regular basis for trips to various locations of Jewish culture in Seattle. A special Israel trip just for 11th graders is being planned, as well as a work-study program just for seniors!
When do I start?
Classes begin the first week of September 2010, and you can start in the second semester if you need to.
