Ari and Jessica Hoffman
Jessica: Washington State Regional Director. Ari: Greater Seattle City Director. Ari and Jessica have been running Seattle NCSY since 2004. They have both been involved in NCSY since they were 14, although in separate regions. Ari completed a degree in communications at Yeshiva University and worked for the New York Region as Assistant Juniors Director, Assistant JSU Director, and Westchester Chapter Advisor, and owns Lion Logistics, a home and commercial construction company. Jessica completed a degree in English from Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women, worked for the New York NCSY Region as an advisor, worked in marketing at Discovery and as an editor at Vantage Press. Together they are committed to the growth of each NCSYer and to Washington State NCSY as a whole. Rabbi Elie and Chaya Estrin
Rabbi Elie and Chaya Estrin are the JSU Coordinators. They moved from Cincinnati to Seattle to direct Chabad activities on the University of Washington campus in 2004. They have been running outreach programs at UW for affiliated and unaffiliated Jewish students. As JSU Coordinators, the Estrins apply their extensive experience working with high school-age students. Rabbi Elie and Chaya have four children and live on the UW campus. Contact the Estrins
Rabbi Mark Spiro
Managing Director, Hebrew High. Rabbi Mark Spiro teaches and serves as Managing Director of Seattle’s Hebrew High. Additionally, he brings more than 20 years of teaching and counseling experience to bear in his role as Executive Director of LivingJudaism. His clear, insightful and caring approach has helped thousands of individuals discover a Judaism that is both profoundly deep and refreshingly relevant to the most important issues and concerns in their lives. Originally from New Rochelle, NY, Rabbi Spiro attended Cornell University School of Architecture and Aish HaTorah’s College of Jewish studies in Jerusalem, where he received his rabbinic ordination in 1989. He has since served in leadership roles in numerous communities around the world, including as Assistant Director of Aish’s advanced study program in Jerusalem, Educational Director of Aish HaTorah in Washington D.C. and South Florida, and Executive Director of Aish HaTorah in San Francisco. Rabbi Spiro and his wife Heather have 4 children. When not working, he enjoys getting outdoors to mow the lawn, hiking, skiing, music, and martial arts
