It’s never been easier to earn cash! For every friend who is not currently a student at Jewish High that you recruit, you earn $20 in cash. Just have your friend write your name in the referral line of their application. Whoever recruits the most students will win a trip to Israel on a summer program.

(terms and restrictions apply. please contact Ari at thehoffather@gmail.com for more information and details.)

What is Jewish High?

Jewish High, formerly known as Hebrew High, is an accredited after-school Jewish studies program open to all Jewish students in Washington State. Classes can be taken for credits that can be applied to your high school, or you can take classes just for fun!

What classes are offered?

Every topic you might want to learn is offered, including Hebrew Language, Guitar, History of Israel, Commando Krav Maga, Dance, and much more! For a full course listing, please visit our website: www.JewishHighSeattle.com.

How do I get credits?

Credits are worked out between Jewish High, you the student, and your public school.

Where and when will classes be held?

Wednesday nights from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Stroum Jewish Community Center (3801 East Mercer Way, Mercer Island). Transportation options are available upon request.

Will there be food?

A light dinner/snack will be provided, such as pizza, doughnuts, or even BBQ.

Can I bring my friends?

Absolutely! Anyone not registered at Jewish High is welcome to attend a class and try it out.

Any special trips?

Through our partner agencies, Jewish High offers accredited summer programs to Israel as well as heritage trips to New York and Washington DC. Several classes leave school grounds on a regular basis for trips to various locations of Jewish culture in Seattle. A special Israel trip just for 11th graders is being planned, as well as a work-study program just for seniors!

When do I start?

Register now for September 2012.
